THERE’S NO NEED TO STRUGGLE
When asked a rather rhetorical question, the world renowned economist and former RBI Governor of India said, “My name is Raghuram Rajan, and I do what I do.” In a superficial perspective, this reply might seem unintelligible. However, it’s a very inspiring quote. When you have clarity of your goals and your purpose, you just do what you do.
Some research have found that, the dopamine reward systems in the brain of an artist don’t react much to monetary rewards. That being said, that’s not the only reason for many artists to economically struggle. Being a digital marketer who likes to bring things to the right audience, I firmly believe that actively working on art what people want, can be challenging, fulfilling and can be a stable and residual source of bread and butter.
