Gmail theme

Its yet another surprise from Gmail, last week they introduced the video and audio chat in gmail and now gmail themes are out where you can choose from a hand full of themes for your mail. Following the footsteps of Google’s personalized homepage, Gmail added themes. Once the new option is enabled in your account (as usually, Gmail’s new features are slowly rolled out), you’ll find a tab named “Themes” in the settings page and you’ll be able to choose from 30 themes. “We wanted to go beyond simple color customization, so out of the 30 odd themes we’re launching today, there’s a shiny theme with chrome styling, another one that turns your inbox into a retro notepad, nature themes that change scenery over time, weather driven themes that can rain on your mailbox, and fun characters to keep you in good company,” mentions Gmail’s blog.

I was expecting a lot from Gautham Menon, but the movie was just bad ! Its just a bad movie, certainly not as bad as other Tamil movies in the recent times. Surya’s acting was pretty good, but never had i expected a bad movie from such a brilliant Director.  I think Gautham Menon didn’t come out of the sorrow of his father’s death some months back. He has even portrayed aged character of Surya like his own father and the movie is full of Father sentiment and too much romance in the 1st half. The second half made me feel like i was watching a completely different movie, i was waiting for the movie to end after the interval.

It was on Deepavali day, i was browsing in my computer and suddenly i got a call from Arun once i picked up the phone, he told “Happy deepavali” and i wished him the same, then he told ok bye, right away. I was like, “man, you just talked for a few secs and you are going to disconnect the line now” then he told

” Illa Mama, Only 10 Paise for Everyone, so i have to call others and wish them and disconnect it quickly, BYE”
ROFL!!!

I was laughing for quite some time after he disconnected the line!!

No one can beat him. He is invincible!

Winamp is one of the best music players i have ever used which has loads of features, unlike Windows Media Player. In Google Talk there is this option to show the currently playing music track as status message. This was working in the older versions of Winamp, but when i upgraded my winamp to Winamp 5.5 and tried to show the the currently playing music track as status in Gtalk, Gtalk freezes and stops responding. Winamp was working fine so i tried out it with Windows Media Player, then Gtalk was able to show the status perfectly and it was working fine. But come on, i don’t want to use win media player, really i don’t, neither do i want  to use older version of Winamp cos winamp 5.5 is freaking cool. So i found out this solution in Gtalk Help, finally they have solved it Phew. Cos, i have been searching for a solution for quite some time.

Step 1: Go to the root directory of Winamp which is usually in C:\Program Files\Winamp\

Step 2: Select Tools->Folder Options->View (Tab) and uncheck the hide extensions for known file types and click Ok.

Step 3: Now create an empty file (Right click the mouse -> New -> Text document), so the default file would be like “New Text Document.txt”.

Step4: Rename the above file to “winamp.m3u” and save.

Step5: Close Winamp and Google Talk. Now open again and Your Show Current music track status should work.

The other day Marc asked me to hear some songs by Rammstein and told that every song is good to hear and its true. These people really rock and i suddenly became a great fan of them. My favorite song is engel, most of the songs are in German. However, the band did record English versions of some of its famous tracks.
