Chutti tv, the sister channel of sun tv, for kids. In the recent times chutti tv is coming up with really cool cartoons like Cyborg, Transformers, samurai etc., I use to see cyborg in Animax when it was not a pay channel,i was pleased to know that these cartoons are showing in chutti tv. But when i saw these cartoons it was pathetic.
How could they even think of naming the characters with Indian names like Karthik,Radha,Raja.Its like calling MARC as MUNIYASAAMI. And the dubbing sucks too. For screwing up like this, they could show the English version itself, at least will help the kids watching it to improve their English.

Yeah the dubbing really sucks and it makes even good cartoon horibble to watch.

Chutti Tv is meant for chutties and not ‘erumakada’ like you. All chutties enjoy it and so it doesn’t matter. Hmmm, in my apartment there are 9 kids under 10 and they love it a lot . They doesn’t know about the dubbing and really can’t realize how pathetic it is.

@Hari, The kids are watching it just for the animation and colors, but if the dubbing is good as well, they could at least understand it ,or may be it should be showing with the original audio, which is far more better.
And hey, cartoons are for all.

I never ever seen the name called MUNIYASAAMI in chutti TV, they are using only decent names like dora, preethi and rakesh …

We grow up watching channels like this and when it’s time to hunt for jobs, go search places where we can learn English in a week (some people think a week is a waste of time. There are just 26 alphabets afterall and no modified alphabets except for the rare accents we borrowed from french and the even more rare umlauts) . What a country.

any way da , but dubbing of cetain characters in jackie chan adventures are good like the grandfathers dubbing is cool

I was about to tell that but Clarion Pro mentioned it. Jackie Chan dubbing is really decent. Actually its really good. The voice is very good for almost all the characters in that show. I know that it sucks for few shows. The dubbing for The Mask in CN was amazing man! I loved it!! “Adi dhool kalappu”. Those days were excellent. But now the paid channels system sucks. cha.

Margabandhu perhaps ?
Also, they should start telecasting Mr.Bean Animater series. No dubbing there.
Saves cost.

@vinod & Borat, There are a few exceptions,but still you can’t sat the Jackie chan dubbing is good, it should be considered comical.
@Kartick, We actually used to call him Markabandhu in class
@George, You might love this, but certainly not the chutti tv dubbing

The dubbing is really retarded. They could actually sound fine if they take the effort.

I feel jackie chan, avatar the air bender dubbing is not that bad compared to others.
Am bored watching mr.bean the animated series coz all the shows are repeated, i watched it more than 5 times the same show in POGO.
Now am wondering when this POGO is going to become a pay channel.

Marc as muniyasaami - thats funny. Even I have heard -Boots as Bujji (in dora the explorer) - My kids started laughing when they saw dora in tamil.
