Dhoni on the Loose ;D

This month was full of shocks and surprises to me, where i found a dead body hanging near my home few weeks back, then the BSNL guy came to fix the problem in 2 hours from time of complaint, now comes the next one.

Jerome and me were on our way to Richie street yesterday evening as he wanted a get a pen-drive, Jerome was driving as usual and when we were going near the Anna square i noticed an awesome looking sports bike ahead of us, so i asked Jerome to go near the bike to get a close look of it. He was trying to hard to get near that bike, but his TVS star was no match for that bike, as we were striving to get close to the bike, luckly it stopped near a signal, and Jerome got as close as possible to the bike and stopped, i was taking a good look at the bike, and suddenly Jerome started to shout “Machi machi machi, Inga paaru”. So i had a look at the guys sitting on the bike, i cant believe it, it the Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni,Jerome shacked his hand with him and then i did, he was so generous with a big smile in his face, then i took jerome’s phone and took a snap of him, till this moment i was not aware that the guy sitting along with Dhoni in the bike was Venkatesh Prasad, i noticed him only when the signal turned green, then he moved so quickly that the bike vanished from our sight in a few seconds.

Damn! I forgot to switch on the flash while taking the photo.

ROFL is rolling on floor laughing. Hehehe… Well I commented it by mistake. I was actually going to say this… Its no big deal in getting a picture with some cricketer or some actor. They are not that big guys according to me. And shaking hands with them is also no big deal dude!
    Now ROFL.

    @Vinod
Yeah its no big deal, but in my case its much of a surprise to me,when i suddenly saw them in the middle of the road.

  8. Karthik Says:

Whoa, pretty cool man. I have seen Krish Srikanth near my house. But he was inside his Honda City. So shake hands was out of the question. :)

Dhoni here because he is playing for Chennai in IPL ? Or was it some sort of Ad campaign ? And is he wearing the bloody cricket helmet ? Nuts!! I thought you would want to avoid publicity.

Whats Prasad doing anyway ? :D

  9. Gowtham Says:

He was in shorts and t-shirts, the next day i heard it in the radio that he was going from the stadium to Taj hotel near by,where he is staying. And yeah he is here for the cricket match.

  10. Karthik Says:

    @Gowtham,

What camera was this ? Sony Ericsson (phone cam) eh ? :)

  11. Marc Says:

What the hell, where is the photo of the cool bike? I don’t want to see Dhoni.

  12. Gowtham Says:

Yeah! K550i,even though it has a 2 mega pixel cam, wasn’t able to help it, actually it was a bit dark, forgot to switch on the flash light.

I always like the way Marc comments. For me meeting Dhoni is really cool. Well, im going match this saturday , i might see all then and il comment here.

  14. Gowtham Says:

Marc, Too much da, anyways it was a Yamaha sports bike, which was muscular with really biiiig exhaust pipe. Heard some news long back that Dhoni has a good collection of sports bikes and cars.

Hari, I have never been to a cricket match at Chepak, and don’t like to.

  15. HaRi Says:

When you get a free ticket to sit in pavilion , who would not like to go? may be gautham numb the gethu guy.

  16. Karthik Says:

I am an indoor person. I’d rather watch the match from my living room with commentary.

  17. Gowtham Says:

@Hari, So you are telling you have a ticket to sit in the pavilion, i suppose there is no ticket like that
And watching the whole match in a stadium in India is insane. I will go only if i like sweating, loads of noise and doing what we are not meant to do there, that is, not enjoying the match. Rather i will sit at home and watch the match in peace like Karthik

  18. George Says:

Hey, that’s pretty cool. Meeting a big shot cricketer and all, that’s rare. Nice dude, you should’ve got an autograph or something.

  19. Sarin Says:

Gowtham is a hotshot photographer! No doubt!

  20. Gowtham Says:

George, You cant expect me to have a pen with me even in college, how could you when i was just roaming :???:

    Sarin, Dai Thappu da

  21. Karthik Says:

Talk about Sehwag cutting loose. :) He hits more than a ball 300 in test matches and fails in ODI’s. What a guy.

  22. Vinod Says:

    @ Marc
Who cares about the bike and the rider!!!! LOL

  23. Gowtham Says:

    I DO

  24. Marc Says:

Vinod, you only care about falling off the bike! ROFL

  25. Gowtham Says:

    Nice one Marc

@Karthik, Yeah he played really well, hope he doesn’t screw it up in the ODI’s
