Yesterday my mom complained me that the land line is not working suddenly, so i came to my room and checked whether the broadband connection is working and it was working fine, so i thought it was be some problem with the phone.
In the afternoon i called up BSNL and complained them about the problem and told my mom that it will possibly take a week or so for these people to come and fix it. In less than 2 hours or so a guy came to my home to fix the problem i was not able to believe what i was seeing. Rearly do this things happen, and another thing that surprised me is that it was raining at that time, can you people just believe this, A guy from BSNL coming for service in less than 2 hours from time of complaint,even though it was raining.
Hope BSNL continues this.

Wow, lucky you. When we called customer support for Airtel, they landed up on time, but I ended up with a reconfigured router with all my NAT tables missing and with a generic SSID and key for the network which he’d advised us to use.
So, if you ever drive by a wireless network called ‘Airtel’, try this for the WEP passphrase: 3123ec256a

Using a wireless router and configuring the same is a ‘bleddy’ pain. Especially so when you have two internet connections and want port forwarding and all that.
(at the end of which you get a 30k bill from BSNL guys)

Ooh Karthik, that’s some funky stuff, two different internet connections. I wants too.
Ha ha Gowtham, I only wish, I just manage to get by.
March 26th, 2008 at 4:59 am
@George,
Sadly, both cannot be connected at the same time to the router. Maybe when I have the free time, I could do something about it.
(I doubt if I will succeed. I could blow things actually.)
@Gowtham,
My phone was repaired in a few hours time as well. What’s more, we complained online.
Really unexpected.

Aww, that would be interesting, wouldn’t it? Mine has this setting for “other connections” but I don’t get it because there’s only one DSL port at the back of the device.

Goddamn geeks. Just buy a faster internet connection!
