I was quite lazy to update my blog, i just came across my blog accidentally via Google and saw that, my recent post was way back in March 1st, so i have decided to update my blog consistently here after, i didn’t even write about my new bike which i brought a month ago. Its actually good tough, since i have rode my bike more than 1000 kilometers i can give a complete review and my experience with my new Hero Honda CBZ Extreme.
I Was initially interested in buying the Honda Unicorn, its really is a great bike(among indian bikes), so one fine day i went to the Honda Showroom in Adyar, they told that once i place the order i will get the bike in about 45 days. Now that was a great disappointment to me. This is completely insane, i can’t wait 45 days for a bike, seriously i can’t. So i starting looking out for some other bike, i went to the TVS showroom in Adyar to take a look at the TVS Apache, the bike looked stunningly beautiful. I took the bike for a test drive and it was a smooth ride, but the thing is, Apache is a bit short, actually speaking the bike is not small or short, the handle bar is placed in such a position. So Apache is out. I never thought about the Bajaj Pulsars and Yamaha FZ is front part is like its incomplete, So after a couple of days i went to the Hero Honda showroom, to take a look at the Hero Honda CBZ Extreme and The Hero Honda Hunk. The Only difference between the CBZ and the Hunk is the Body and design, because they both sport the same motor(Engine). The Hunk is too big and rather than a Bull it looks more like a pig :P. But the CBZ has a great design.
The best thing about the CBZ Xtreme is that, both the front and the rear indicators are place on the body of the bike, rather than having the indicators protruding out like a stick. The CBZ also has a Sleek design and the seating is really good. So i ordered the bike and got it in a week after registration.

Now that i have rode more than 1000 km i will review the bike.
Design: The Bike is sleek and has a great design, Cbz has the coolest design in the 150 cc category.
Top Speed: 110 kmph
Milage: Before buying the bike some of my friends told that, the bike delivers about 40 kmpl, but i was not concerned about it much, i rode the initial 750 km not more than 45-50 kmph so it gave me around 55 kmpl(impressive). Now that i open the throttle much it gives me around 47 kmpl(i’m still imperssed)
Performance: The initial pick up the bike is really good i could go from 0-60 in like 5 seconds :P. The maintanence is less as well. I have rode nearly 1500 km now and have experienced no problems with the bike.
Features: There are quite some notable features in the CBZ Xtreme.
- Tuff up tyres in the rear wheel, which helps to reduce the chances of getting the wheel punctured.
- ATFT technology, this was inherited from the Hero Honda Hunk.
- Alloy wheel in Red and Orange and Black.
- Grab rails sports vibrant colors.
